Meet your therapist

Carolina Robles is a bilingual, bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in North Carolina. She carries deep pride in the values and beliefs passed down through her Mexican roots, honoring the resilience, warmth, and cultural richness that shaped her. Equally, she embraces her identity as an American, knowing that “ni de aquí ni de allá” has never defined her—because she comes from both places, and both live fully within her.

From a young age, she faced barriers that often required her to work harder than her peers while carrying the weight of her own traumatic experiences. Over time, she came to understand that these struggles reflected the reality of navigating an oppressive society as a Latina woman. This awareness sparked her passion for advocacy, equity, and justice for marginalized communities, and ultimately led her to pursue a career in social work — and later, to become a therapist.

As a clinician, she is deeply committed to validating and affirming the identities and lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQ+ communities. Her work is rooted in cultural humility, compassion, and a dedication to creating safe, healing spaces.

Outside of her professional life, Carolina enjoys hiking the mountains of Western North Carolina, playing soccer, and spending quality time with her husband and their beloved furbabies.
