Meet your therapist

A woman with long dark hair is sitting outdoors on a stone ledge, smiling at the camera. She is wearing a black leather jacket over a pink top.

I am Carolina Robles, LCSW, a bilingual and bicultural Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in North Carolina and the owner of Tierra y Alma Counseling Services.

I carry deep pride in my Mexican roots, honoring the resilience, warmth, and cultural richness that have shaped who I am. I also embrace my identity as an American, holding both experiences as an important part of my perspective and identity.

My path to becoming a therapist was shaped by both personal and professional experiences. From a young age, I encountered barriers and life experiences that deepened my understanding of how identity, culture, and systemic inequities can shape a person’s sense of self, belonging, and opportunity. Over time, this awareness grew into a commitment to advocacy, equity, and creating spaces of healing for marginalized communities.

As a clinician, I am committed to providing a space where clients feel seen, heard, and affirmed in their identities and lived experiences. My work is grounded in cultural humility, compassion, and a trauma-informed lens, with a focus on supporting Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and LGBTQ+ communities.

Outside of my work, I enjoy hiking, playing soccer, and spending time with my husband and our furbabies.
